- Automated DNA extraction systems for highest quality genomic DNA
- -80°C freezers for storage of up to 228,000 sample vials. All freezers are installed with CO2 back-up system
- Liquid nitrogen tanks for storage of up to 192,800 samples at ultra-low temperature
(-196°C)
- Equipment are electronically monitored and on emergency power back-up
- Strict security measures are in place to protect the invaluable samples that are our national resources
- Independent back-up facility is being built which can store 169,000 vials in Liquid nitrogen tanks and 1,360,800 vials in -80°C freezers
