Providing Samples to the Research Community  

 

Sample withdrawal criteria:

The review process is conducted through the Scientific Advisory Group to ensure transparency and equitable distribution. Prioritization will be given to projects with scientific meritocracy and excellence, coupled with peer rmeviewed grants with accompanying funding. Decision will also be made based on the strategic objectives of the Singapore Bio-Bank. In addition, applicants are to ensure that the study protocol has been reviewed and approved by their institute’s ethics review committee.

Projects banking in the Singapore Bio-Bank will have to comply with the sample and Data Access agreement and maximise the availability of clinical data and samples to the research community at the end of a specific period.

We provide:

  • Matched / unmatched DNA samples from whole blood
  • Matched / unmatched serum and plasma samples
  • Immortalized cell lines from isolated lymphocytes
  • DNA from immortalized lymphocyte samples
  • Urine
  • Others


Applicants can apply to withdraw samples from the Singapore Bio-Bank by filling up the Biospecimens withdrawal Application Form.
